Add social and content links

When you paste a supported platform URL, Squres tries to create a dedicated card with the right platform styling and public metadata.

Supported platforms

Squres supports dedicated cards for Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Spotify, GitHub, LinkedIn, SoundCloud, Reddit, Behance, Dribbble, and Medium.

What works best

Use public profile, channel, post, playlist, repository, publication, or project URLs. Public pages with usable metadata usually produce the richest cards.

When Squres uses a generic link card

Squres falls back to a generic Link widget when a URL is unsupported, too deep for the platform contract, private, unavailable, or missing public metadata. The link still works; it just uses the generic card treatment.

Fix a card that looks wrong

Check that the pasted URL opens publicly in a private browser window. If the platform blocks metadata or hides the page, use a cleaner profile URL or keep the generic Link widget.
