Claim and change your username

Your username is the slug in your public Squres URL. If your username is jane, your public page is available at squres.io/jane.

Choose a good username

Use the handle people already know from your main social account when possible. Usernames should be short, readable, and easy to say out loud.

Change your username

Open the account menu, choose Update username, enter the new username, and save. Squres checks the format and whether the username is already taken before updating your page.

What changes after saving

The public URL changes immediately. Update the link in your social bios, newsletter footer, pinned posts, and any other places where you shared the old URL.

If the username is unavailable

Try a small variation that still matches your brand. Avoid adding random numbers unless that is already part of your public identity.
